The instruments

Seven sheets. Print them and run a session. They are listed in the order you meet them.

Each sheet says which group it is for. Those tracks are not written yet, so the sheets are here on their own for now: take the ones that fit what you already run.

  1. The board

Know / Need to Know / Handing to the AI

One page per learner, filled in during the first session and picked up again in the last.

Used in: High school, Adults, Community · print

  2. The card

    Before you ask

Finished before the prompt, never instead of it. Print two or three per learner.

Used in: High school, Adults, Community · print

  3. The drill

Five questions, run on the one thing you built

Run against a single interaction, after it works, to find where it does not.

Used in: High school, Adults, Community · print

  4. The interaction ladder

    Five choices, easiest first

Learners pick one rung and make it work. Picking one is what makes this fit a session.

Used in: High school, Community · print

  5. The Anchor card

Fill this in before you build anything

One card per project, used in Build Two when you are making something another person will use.

    Used in: Adults · print

  6. The STEER check

Five dimensions, run before anyone else uses what you built

A pre-ship checklist for Build Two. One pass per tool, before it reaches a second person.

    Used in: Adults · print

  7. What you heard

One session, watched from the back

For the facilitators track. Tally during the session, place the rubric afterwards.
